A little history

1932

Johnny Brown followed his dreams

Came to montreal to pursue his dancing career

A travel adventure that lead to bigger opportunities

Canada was going through a big depression and thats when he went to New York to buy point shoes.

Openning the magic of Dance

Johnny Brown openned the first dance store in Montreal

1949

Moving to bigger projects

That year Johnny Brown moved into a big house which he continued doing manifacturing in his basement.

1950

Spreading the passion of dance

At this point Johnny Brown was distributing catalogues around Canada

1978

A new Beginning

Andre shier and his partner bought the business

1979

All for the best

The store was expedited by the city, therefore explaining their move to Hutchison

1980

What a great year!

The new owner took Johnny Brown to a whole new level by adding whole sale

Welcome Moshe Lobl

Moshe Lobl brought Johnny Brown back to its roots and really turned things around when he made dance special again!
